Remove /^[\s*]*__FBSDID\("\$FreeBSD\$"\);?\s*\n/

various: general adoption of SPDX licensing ID tags.

Mainly focus on files that use BSD 2-Clause license, however the tool I
was using misidentified many licenses so this was mostly a manual - error
prone - task.

The Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) group provides a specification
to make it easier for automated tools to detect and summarize well known
opensource licenses. We are gradually adopting the specification, noting
that the tags are considered only advisory and do not, in any way,
superceed or replace the license texts.

No functional change intended.

# a7d5f7eb 19-Oct-2010 Jamie Gritton <jamie@FreeBSD.org>

A new jail(8) with a configuration file, to replace the work currently done
by /etc/rc.d/jail.

# fe0506d7 09-Mar-2010 Marcel Moolenaar <marcel@FreeBSD.org>

Create the altix project branch. The altix project will add support
for the SGI Altix 350 to FreeBSD/ia64. The hardware used for porting
is a two-module system, consisting of a base compute module and a
CPU expansion module. SGI's NUMAFlex architecture can be an excellent
platform to test CPU affinity and NUMA-aware features in FreeBSD.

# d7f03759 19-Oct-2008 Ulf Lilleengen <lulf@FreeBSD.org>

- Import the HEAD csup code which is the basis for the cvsmode work.

# e65b4394 25-Jan-2005 Suleiman Souhlal <ssouhlal@FreeBSD.org>

Remove useless mode argument to open().

# 4ae6befa 01-Oct-2004 Jens Schweikhardt <schweikh@FreeBSD.org>

General overhaul:
- Makefile: WARNS=6
- man page: sort options, better xrefs, informative BUGS section
- C source: proper option parsing, use printer control (.ctl) device,
removed heaps of bit rot, style(9) cleanup, WARNS=6 cleanup.

Use __FBSDID over rcsid[]. Protect copyright[] where needed.

Add -e option and change unit to device access in lptcontrol.8

Change unit to device access in lptcontrol.c. Now usage is

lptcontrol -i | -p | -e [-d /dev/lpt?]

# bc35c174 09-Jan-1999 Nicolas Souchu <nsouch@FreeBSD.org>

Major ppbus commit with:

+ ECP parallel port chipset FIFO detection
+ DMA+FIFO parallel I/O handled as chipset specific
+ nlpt updated in order to use the above enhanced parallel I/O.
Use 'lptcontrol -e' to use enhanced I/O
+ Various options documented in LINT
+ Full IEEE1284 NIBBLE and BYTE modes support. See ppbus(4) for
an overview of the IEEE1284 standard
+ Detection of PnP parallel devices at boot
+ Read capability added to nlpt driver to get IEEE1284 compliant
printer status with a simple 'cat /dev/lpt0'
+ IEEE1284 peripheral emulation added to BYTE mode. Two computers
may dialog according to IEEE1284 signaling method.
See PERIPH_1284 option and /sys/dev/ppbus/ppi.c

All this code is supposed to provide basic functions for IEEE1284 programming.
ppi.c and nlpt.c may act as examples.

# fe577fe9 25-Sep-1997 Philippe Charnier <charnier@FreeBSD.org>

Use err(3).

# 476602a9 22-Feb-1997 Peter Wemm <peter@FreeBSD.org>

Revert $FreeBSD$ to $Id$

# 1130b656 14-Jan-1997 Jordan K. Hubbard <jkh@FreeBSD.org>

Make the long-awaited change from $Id$ to $FreeBSD$

This will make a number of things easier in the future, as well as (finally!)
avoiding the Id-smashing problem which has plagued developers for so long.

Boy, I'm glad we're not using sup anymore. This update would have been
insane otherwise.

# 709e8f9a 29-May-1995 Rodney W. Grimes <rgrimes@FreeBSD.org>

Remove trailing whitespace.

# 12365022 03-Sep-1994 Geoff Rehmet <csgr@FreeBSD.org>

Make it possible to run lptcontrol on a printer port which does not
actually have a printer connected or online:
- MAKEDEV: remove all signs of lpa
add lpctl? devices (minor # = unit + 128)
- usr.sbin/Makefile add lptcontrol
- sys/i386/isa/lpt.c implement the LP_BYPASS flag: when a unit is
opened with this flag set, the printer is
not primed, and no check is made to see that
the printer is online. This can only be used
to pass ioctls. (giving us /dev/lpctl?)
- lptcontrol.c use /dev/lpctl? (LP_BYPASS)
-f flag removed, -u flag added
- lptcontrol.8 document changes in lptcontrol
rewrite using mandoc macros
