Create the altix project branch. The altix project will add support for the SGI Altix 350 to FreeBSD/ia64. The hardware used for porting is a two-module system, consisting of a base compute module and a CPU expansion module. SGI's NUMAFlex architecture can be an excellent platform to test CPU affinity and NUMA-aware features in FreeBSD.

Don't mention wtmp.[0-7] in the FILES section. This manual page doesn't talk about these files elsewhere, doesn't use the files by default, and the names are dependent on site-specific newsyslog configuration. PR: 30348 Submitted by: Giorgos Keramidas <charon@labs.gr>

Make the long-awaited change from $Id$ to $FreeBSD$ This will make a number of things easier in the future, as well as (finally!) avoiding the Id-smashing problem which has plagued developers for so long. Boy, I'm glad we're not using sup anymore. This update would have been insane otherwise.
