Currently, less(1) uses K&R prototypes, which both fails to provide useful compiler-time type checking, and also causes problems for targets where multiple incompatible calling conventions may be selected based on argument types. This change switches less(1) to ANSI prototypes. While there, we also remove use of "register", and attempt to use "const" a bit better now that the compiler can check argument types. Update less to v436. This is considered as a bugfix release from vendor. Major changes from v429: * Don't pass "-" to non-pipe LESSOPEN unless it starts with "-". * Allow a fraction as the argument to the -# (--shift) option. * Fix highlight bug when underlined/overstruck text matches at end of line. * Fix non-regex searches with ctrl-R. Create the altix project branch. The altix project will add support for the SGI Altix 350 to FreeBSD/ia64. The hardware used for porting is a two-module system, consisting of a base compute module and a CPU expansion module. SGI's NUMAFlex architecture can be an excellent platform to test CPU affinity and NUMA-aware features in FreeBSD.
