MFC r237433:
Implement mechanism to export some kernel timekeeping data to
usermode, using shared page.

MFC r237474:
Stop updating the struct vdso_timehands from even handler executed in
the scheduled task from tc_windup(). Do it directly from tc_windup in
interrupt context.

# 220885 20-Apr-2011 bz

Compile in in_cksum* implementations for both IPv6 and IPv6.
While in_pseudo() etc. is often used in offloading feature support,
in_cksum() is mostly used to fix some broken hardware.

Keeping both around for the moment allows us to compile NIC drivers
even in an IPv6 only environment without the need to mangle them
with #ifdef INETs in a way they are not prepared for. This will
leave some dead code paths that will not be exercised for IPv6.

# 220292 03-Apr-2011 adrian

Import nvram2env, a device driver which imports various NVRAM-style
environments into the kernel environment.

The eventual aim is to replace these with specific drivers for
the various bootloaders (redboot, uboot, etc.) This however will
work for the time being until it can be properly addressed.

# 216315 09-Dec-2010 jchandra

UMA_MD_SMALL_ALLOC for mips.

Implement uma_small_alloc() and uma_small_free() for mips that allocates
pages from direct mapped memory. Uses the same mechanism as the page table
page allocator, so that we allocate from KSEG0 in 32 bit, and from XKPHYS
on 64 bit.

mips_rd_status/mips_wr_status. Implement them in mips/include/cpufunc.h,
and remove psraccess.S.

Remove the now-obsolete comments about compile-with. There are no
compile-with lines in this file at all. So we don't need two warnings
about them.

With this commit our friend RMI will now compile. I have

making it run ;-)

Update options.mips to support config options required to build the SWARM

The SWARM kernel does not build yet but at least it gets past the kernel

Does 4 things:
1) Adds future RMI directories
2) Places intr_machdep.c in specfic files.arch pointing to the generic
intr_machdep.c. This allows us to have an architecture dependant
intr_machdep.c (which we will need for RMI) in the machine specific
directory
3) removes intr_machdep.c from files.mips
4) Adds some TARGET_XLR_XLS ifdef's for the machine specific intra_machdep.h. We
may need to look at finding a better place to put this. But first I want to
get this thing compiling.

Use FreeBSD/arm approach for handling bus space access: space tag is a pointer
to bus_space structure that defines access methods and hence every bus can
define own accessors. Default space is mips_bus_space_generic. It's a simple
interface to physical memory, values are read with regard to host system
byte order.

# 189170 28-Feb-2009 ed

Add memmove() to the kernel, making the kernel compile with Clang.

When copying big structures, LLVM generates calls to memmove(), because
it may not be able to figure out whether structures overlap. This caused
linker errors to occur. memmove() is now implemented using bcopy().
Ideally it would be the other way around, but that can be solved in the
future. On ARM we don't do add anything, because it already has
memmove().

# 185522 01-Dec-2008 sam

Switch to ath hal source code. Note this removes the ath_hal
module; the ath module now brings in the hal support. Kernel
config files are almost backwards compatible; supplying

device ath_hal

gives you the same chip support that the binary hal did but you
must also include

options AH_SUPPORT_AR5416

to enable the extended format descriptors used by 11n parts.
It is now possible to control the chip support included in a
build by specifying exactly which chips are to be supported
in the config file; consult ath_hal(4) for information.

from standard to optional.

mips_subr.c was in the Juniper code drop, but didn't have any
functions used by other code in the tree. As such it was removed from
the merged tree until the functions were needed in the future. The
file was missing from the FreeBSD import, but it was listed in the
files.mips file as being standard. Remove it from there until such
time as we need one.

Juniper Engineers, plus Oleksandr Tymoshenko, Wojciech Koszek, Warner
Losh, Olivier Houchard, Randall Stewert and others that have
contributed to the mips2 and/or mips2-jnpr perforce branches.
